For Instance a particular quadrant will light up as an indication of part of the screen the gamer is playing. However the same functionality is associated with the ‘ring of light’ power button. In case the player receives a message, the guide button, then also, will light up. Gamers can reach the Xbox dashboard by pressing the guide button. This dashboard in new Xbox controller equals to a desktop for a PC. The dashboard serves the purposes of messaging friends, downloading content, voice chat. These are all possible even during gaming.
The new Xbox controller has a standard headset jack for plugging in headset. This facilitates voice communication. Either a pair of traditional AA packs battery or rechargeable battery can be used to power Xbox 360. The battery can be flash charged using a charger. A better option in new Xbox controller is the trickle charge using USB connection. The advantage is it alerts the user when the charge is running low. Movement of the few auxiliary buttons is a fresh feature in the new Xbox controller. The ‘start’ and ‘back’ buttons are now in a more centralized position. Two new shoulder buttons positioned over analog triggers have replaced the black and white buttons and are located at the back of the new Xbox controller. Online competition between gamers is definitely an added attraction.
